Since 1997, the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) National has been the standard bearer for promoting the welfare and well-being of the four million Filipinos and Filipino Americans throughout the United States. At the time of NaFFAA’s inception, there were just over 2.5 million Filipinos and Filipino Americans. Founding members of the organization had the foresight to visualize and organize our growing power and voice into the next millennium.
Now with over 4.2 million Filipinos across the United States, and with Filipinos considered as the second-largest Asian American group, NaFFAA is the largest non-partisan, non-profit organization, and national affiliation of Filipino American institutions, organizations, and individuals. Its thirteen-member regions cover the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands
NaFFAA's national office is based in Washington, D.C. Its main function is to monitor legislation and public policy issues affecting Filipino Americans and work in coalition with ocher national groups around common issues and concerns. In addition, the national office serves as a communications link between affiliate members as well as an information source on federal and legislative initiatives and policies relevant to Filipino Americans. NaFFAA maintains 12 regional offices across the U.S. and in Hawaii.
In Utah, NaFFAA has gathered almost 400 new members just within the second half of 2021.NaFFAA Utah is a proud partner of the Philippine Consulate General San Francisco for the Philippine Consular Outreach in Utah 2021+. NaFFAA Utah has accomplished different projects in the few years that it has been around in Utah.
