EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
Lillian Chavez Vergin grew up in Orani, Bataan, Philippines. But for the past two decades, she has made Utah her home away from home. As anyone would hope for, her networking chops paved the way for her to be able to commute between the Philippines and Utah as she webbed herself into the intricate world of networking business.
Jerry, her soon to be retired hardworking husband, her 3 grown kids Ian, Clarrence, Ivy and her grandkids Paris, Cato and Kaya are her pride and happiness. When she is not with family, you can find her at the Veggie House (map) restaurant in Salt Lake City that she owns and manages to fulfill another purpose, that is, to serve Filipinos, Americans and a diverse group of Utahns with delectable vegan food.
Lillian has an immense respect for the Filipino - American community in Utah and hopes to provide excellent service, and continue the legacy set before her as she serves NaFFAA-Utah as its Chair.
Joselyn (JoJo) Conti is a Marketing and Business Management Professional. She was born in Manila and grew up in Bacolod. In 2005, JoJo moved to the US with her husband and daughter and lived in 3 different states in the past 16 years. She now resides in Utah, with her husband, Joey. Currently, she works as International Product Trainer, Asia Region at doTERRA; a direct selling company.
JoJo currently serves NaFFAA-Utah as its Vice President.
Dinah Olino is from Iligan City, Lanao del Norte and moved to the US more than 20 years ago. She studied Business Administration major in Economics and Web and Visual Communications. Her career experience includes being an office manager, quality assurance officer, administrative assistant, liaison and currently, as a real estate professional.
In 2013, she decided to get into real estate after a massive layoff happened in her previous company. Dinah finds being a realtor to be a very fulfilling job as she helps individuals and families fulfill their dream of homeownership.
She got involved in the Filipino community when she became an officer of FILAMCCU when it was first established in 2014 and was and is still one of the organizers of the annual event Philippine Independence Day Celebration (Filipino Festival).
Dinah currently serves NaFFAA Utah as its Secretary.
Thelma Lassig is a mother of 8 and a grandmother of 5 grandchildren (all boys). She has served in the United States Air force and speaks several languages. She is a fashion designer and a professional dressmaker. Thelma has earned the titles of Mrs. Asia Utah, Mrs. Philippines USA and Mrs. Noble Queen Universe America. She gets busy being a notary public and helping her husband, Shan in his mortage business. She and her husband are big philantrophists and are the founders of the Shan and Thelma Love Kids Foundation which is now building its first orphanage in the island of Bohol, Philippines.
Thelma loves spending time with family and goes boating, camping and doing anything adventurous with them. With strong mental, physical, emotional and spiritual attitude, she has been able to accomplish the goals she sets out for herself and her amazing family.
Thelma currently serves NaFFAA-Utah as its Treasurer.
Belle Carson was born and raised in the queen city of the South, Cebu, Philippines. She moved to the US in May 2005 and lives in West Jordan, Utah. She currently works at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a QA Auditor. Belle has two beautiful boys and is married to Aaron Carson. Belle believes that living in the US has provided her with opportunities to grow and develop, both personally and professionally.
Belle currently serves NaFFAA-Utah as its Assistant Treasurer.
